Group Training (you schedule)
Group training is a great option for anyone interested in a cost effective way to receive personal training. Group training classes are lead by a coach/trainer who creates a workout that can be adjusted to each person’s skill level. Group training classes prove to be effective because a trainer is there coaching you while your peers help encourage you to get the RESULTS you are after.
If you are looking for a class that will help you burn fat and increase your metabolism, try our new class Freemotion 45. This class is taught by one of our new trainers, Sebastian Bascur, and is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at both 5:45 am and 7:00 am. Freemotion 45 is a combination cardio bootcamp class that also includes time on the treadmill and turf. After regular participation in this class, you can expect more energy and an increase in muscle stamina and endurance.
FIT Academy is excited to announce the addition of a brand new class called PIYO, which is a combination fitness class involving both pilates and yoga. This class will be held on Tuesday nights at 6:00 pm with Shauna. During this class, you will strengthen your muscles as you stretch to improve posture, stability, balance and strength.
BioSignature (you schedule)
If interested in personal training, FIT Academy is offering something new in personal training! The BioSignature program is different than other personal training programs because one of our personal trainers will assess how your body stores and utilizes body fat. They will then design a fitness program and nutrition plan customized to your biology, so you will finally be able to get those body specific results you have been looking for!
Updates to Current Classes at FIT Academy
The Monday/Tuesday evening yoga class at 6:00 pm taught by Frances, will now be held on Monday/Wednesday at 6:00 pm.
More Barre classes are here! FIT Academy is now offering Barre classes on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5:15 to 5:55. If interested in attending, be prompt and show up prepared to workout for 40 minutes. This class consists of 40 minutes of calorie burning, muscle challenging fun. It is truly the perfect way to end your day and get home in time for dinner!
FIT Academy provided two flash Zumba classes at the beginning of this month. If you attended those classes and enjoyed them or if you are interested in trying them out in the future, let us know you would like us to put it on the schedule for July!
